relationship exists between a laboratory and its clients.
Unlike other businesses that provide uniform products
or services, a film or video laboratory must tailor
its services to suit the individual needs of each particular
client. For such relationships to work well, the client
must also have a general knowledge of the processes,
capabilities, and limitations involved in laboratory
services. Communications between the laboratory and
the client must be in a language that is understandable
and familiar to both parties.
As the largest association dedicated exclusively to
these highly specialized businesses, the membership
is composed of a majority of the professional motion
picture laboratories in North America. In addition,
many leading laboratories and associate members in other
countries from every corner of the world can also be
found in our membership.
